Mid Day Conversations And News Round Up At Café: The Economy Action And New Threats.

"The action I am taking is no more than a radical measure to hasten the explosion of truth and justice. I have but one passion: to enlighten those who have been kept in the dark, in the name of humanity which has suffered so much and is entitled to happiness. My fiery protest is simply the cry of my very soul. Let them dare, then, to bring me before a court of law and let the enquiry take place in broad daylight!"

- Emile Zola, J'accuse! (1898) –

Emily's Law: (Emmy Peyton)

"No person on this Earth shall be ordered, or tempted, or manipulated, or coerced into acting against the Golden Rule, and no person shall be required to support actions of those persons, organizations, governments or entities of any  nature,  that are not civil, or humane, or do offend the moral standard of the Golden Rule.  No law can be made to force, require, tempt, manipulate, coerce or intimidate any person on this Earth to break the code of the Golden Rule, nor can any law require, tempt, manipulate, coerce or intimidate any person to support uncivilized actions that disregard the Golden Rule. No person shall be expected to support uncivilized actions of any other individual, or government, or corporate entity, by financial, aggressive, or any means of any kind. No person shall be driven away from communion with God or driven away from civilized action by any group, government, order, law or expectation thereof.  Any person who perceives injustice has the inalienable right to be free of committing it. The Council on Foreign Relations think tank outlined what amounted to a worst-case scenario in the event the country descends into total chaos and foreign troops intervene after a failed succession upon Kim Jong-Il's death.(defensenews.com)

OPEC Ready for More Oil Production Cuts to Boost Prices

OPEC's Abdalla Salem El-Badri, speaking at the Davos said he hoped stimulus plans in consuming countries would increase demand. "If we still have some downward problems, then OPEC will not hesitate to take some quantity out of the market," he said. (latimes.com)

(Joe Rothstein's Commentary)">What's Next for the Republican Party? (Joe Rothstein's Commentary)

Last May, former Republican Congressman Tom Davis sent a memo to his Republican colleagues in which he compared the Republican “brand” to “bad dog food.” The memo was quite a shock to Republicans, since Davis at the time was part of the GOP's House leadership and former chair of its campaign committee.

Davis' language might have been jarring, but his point was unassailable: after having lost three special elections at that time, in solid Republican districts, something was obviously wrong with the Republican message. Davis had a very good handle on his party's problems. He spelled it out in graphic detail. But his memo got fuzzy when he tried to suggest solutions.

On the off-chance that
BushCheney, Gonzales, Rumsfeld et. al. are not investigated and prosecuted by either U.S. or international authorities, then private means of adjudication will take over. ... You far lefties just want to try to get even for the 2000 election and Clinton's impeachment. BHO knows it would just divide the country further, he is not stupid. BHO wants to be remembered for his policies, not his witch hunts. ...Most Popular Entries on HuffingtonPos... - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
