I Am Sick And Tired Of Self-Anointed “Verbal Lint” Peddling “Progressive Leaders” Egomaniacs, Every Bit As Bad As Our Elected “Leaders”.
"The action I am taking is no more than a radical measure to hasten the explosion of truth and justice. I have but one passion: to enlighten those who have been kept in the dark, in the name of humanity which has suffered so much and is entitled to happiness. My fiery protest is simply the cry of my very soul. Let them dare, then, to bring me before a court of law and let the enquiry take place in broad daylight!"

Cheney: Bush's actions legal if not impeached
Andrew McLemore| Published: Sunday January 4, 2009
Now isn’t that just a dandy statement of the truth? And let us face the fact that if this administration gets away without impeachment, without special prosecutorial investigations, hearings, indictments, prosecutions, convictions and imprisonments for all manner of corruption, Constitution Perversion and Crimes against humanity; it will be our fault for not having the intestinal fortitude and willingness to sacrifice ourselves if necessary to save this nation. The system is fractured, shattered and impotent and we have long known that. That means that restoration must come at the hands of the people and in feeble gatherings in the park!
Speaker Makes Room for New No. 1 Democrat…Maybe?
I HAVE HAD IT. I WANT YOU TO READ THIS, AND MY COMMENTS WILL FOLLOW!
March of the Dead to Greet Congress on Tuesday
WHEN: March from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009. Additional dramatic action 2:15 p.m.
WHERE: The march will approach the U.S. Capitol on Pennsylvania Ave. SE and turn north on 1st Street to pass between the Capitol and the Supreme Court, turn west on Constitution Ave. to pass the Senate office buildings, turn south to pass the west front of the Capitol, and turn east on Independence Ave. to pass the House office buildings.
Members of the media wanting to cover the additional nonviolent action should meet representatives of the March of the Dead in front of the Supreme Court at 2 p.m.
WHY: "We will be conducting the March of the Dead as the 111th Congress is being sworn in," said Laurie Arbeiter of the Activist Response Team, creators of the march. "We demand that this Congress end the terror of war, get out of Iraq and Afghanistan, stay out of Iran, Pakistan, and Syria and stop all support of Israeli foreign and military policy that results in massacres like the current one in Gaza."
"The power to begin and end wars rests with Congress," said David Swanson of AfterDowningStreet.org, "and the responsibility of Congress is to represent the American people. We have now for the second time elected a Congress to end the occupation of Iraq, and this time we will insist that it be ended. A treaty unratified by the Senate cannot legalize three more years of war.
And the human impact of long-distance slaughter cannot be kept from the eyes of Congress members if we make up our minds that they will see it."

End the Wars Now
We have done this type of thing over and over with, quite frankly, embarrassing results. The media is not going to care and the exercise is more likely to produce more colds and sniffles than it will press coverage. Washington is all a twitter with the Inaugration and Congress is all wrapped up in its own return, and still the would be mouth piece leaders of “The Progressives” support such silly time wasting mini-protests.
Where will Swanson be? He’ll be out front as long as he has the bull horn to speak and then he’ll duck away to blog it all for his next report. Damn it when are we folks going to put down the bull horn, put down the laptops, and march right up to and through police lines at the House and Senate.
I hate to agree with what one person told me the other day: “It will take a real Depression before the people stop all their Bullshit talking and really act like Americans who want to take back this country street by street, block by block and city by city.”
I have had it! If a group asks for participation it had better be a call to real concerted action and not Casper Milk Toast Pabulum Political Theater. Get real or shut up and fold your tent! We don’t want more of the same government, so why don’t we flush our own “more of the same”……!
A new administration holds out some modicum of hope but if anyone believes the basic Congress has had some sort of epiphany and has “seen the light”; they are naive, stupid or both.
The corrosion and corruption of our Capitalist system and our Government is so complete that they should be placed on the infrastructure replacement list. No little theater in street, no little media blitzes are going to do the job necessary to rebuild this nation. In fact as long as we persist in those ineffective, ineffectual endeavors and pose no threat to the leadership of this nation our little annoyances will be tolerated and we will continue to be spun off as moon bats and kooks. It is time for a reality check and time to shut this nation down in a nationwide shut down strike… Hell we’re half way there in the economic collapse thundering down on us each day as the media insists upon telling us how it is going to be managed. Damn I see a nation of Ostriches before me, heads buried and asses exposed for the great kicking.
Tell me, tell, convince me that one more off main street piece of political theater is going to do one damn bit of good… and PLEASE don’t give me that bit about the collective totality of impact because it hasn’t happened and it isn’t going to happen just because folks can type up a long list in cyber space that only the choir reads.
I am sick and tired of self-anointed “verbal lint” peddling “Progressive Leaders” egomaniacs, every bit as bad as our elected “leaders”, co-opted by nice guy protesting tactics. We would have eaten them alive and drummed them out of our way in the 60s.
I’ll see you all where there is real action, or I won’t see you at all!
