Conversation No. 12: Obama and the White Supremacist Threat
It is not merely a shame that we are having this conversation and discussion; it is a serious indictment of an American reality that most prefer to ignore, and that is known simply as being in denial.
That does not solve the problem, a problem that is not a genetic flaw in our species but a learned tolerated attitude and behavior.
So long as that condition is perpetuated by silence and inaction the fabric or our society is weakened by the contamination of hate, bigotry, intolerance and the willingness to engage in violence on behalf of that “content-of-character” that some of our brothers and sisters harbor and/or cultivate.
