When Injustice Becomes Law, Rebellion Becomes Duty!

When Injustice Becomes Law, Rebellion Becomes Duty! You May Answer That Call In Song And Words Or You May March With Courageous Honor With Our Fore Fathers.

It’s Time To Party Like It's 1775!

"The government is merely a servant--merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders' not originate them."
~ Mark Twain ~

1. I'm writing to ask you to post this music video by David Ippolito about torture to everyone on your lists and to please ask them to play it and then post it to everyone on their lists and ask them to play it.

We're aiming to get the hits for this video to skyrocket, hoping to make it a phenomena that's newsworthy enough to get the video shown on, say, Stephen Colbert, or to get David invited on the show and interviewed by the media so he can talk about getting Holder to prosecute. If that great wedding dance video* can do it so can we!

2. I'm working with David to quickly produce an ad to be shown on local cable network affiliates asking people to call Holder and demand prosecution. It's going to cost $50,000 to run the ad in NY, DC, SF, LA-- more markets if we can afford it. We're shooting for spots on Olbermann, Maddow, Colbert and Stewart. This could generate the surge Holder needs to prove there's public support for prosecution. I think it's worth a try-- what do we have to lose?

David is in the production studio now. If you haven't seen his work please give it a look. I'm impressed with his voice, lyrics, free concerts in the park, humor, and political saavy. This guy is the real article-- and I'm hoping the ad will resonate with viewers who perhaps feel angry and frustrated and hopeless-- to pick up the phone and tell Holder to prosecute. We all know people who sit and watch Colbert and Maddow and don't come out for actions or say "there's nothing I can do". Let's give them something easy to do.

Please post the video-- this needs to move fast!
